Hello lovelies. I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas! I usually have my Christmas Decor blog post up way earlier, but this year life got busy and I allowed myself to stay in the flow of things, rather then push through and force it. It’s something I’ve been working, and it’s really transforming things for me! Anyways, here we are, 10 days before the big day, and I am just releasing my holiday decor photos now! I hope you enjoy them :).
As you may have noticed, I am no longer in my big old office space anymore! We decided to move out of our home, and we are currently living in a smaller space, until we decide on our next home purchase. As a result, I have a much smaller space to work with, and I am actually quite thrilled with how it has turned out. I love cozy office nooks, and this little corner could not be any cozier!
I purchased a brand new artificial tree this year. It is the 7.5 foot flocked artificial tree by Holiday Time. I got it for only $199 at Walmart! I couldn’t believe the steal of a deal I got on this beautiful tree.
I pulled together my ornaments from last Christmas, and I merely added new pink ribbon, and gold branches to the top of the tree, as well as a few in the body of the tree. I plan on buying a lot more of those branches during the post holiday sales!
These gorgeous mugs are from Home Sense (in Canada), and they actually come as a set of 4. They were super cute, and only $14.99, for all 4!
I have been adding to my collection of pretty holiday decor over the last couple of years, and I would highly recommend you shop the post Christmas sales if you are looking to update or revamp your holiday items. It’s easier on your wallet to build up your collection over time, then to purchase it all at once. And then every year it’s fun to just add a little bit more :).
Now that my desk is pushed up against the wall, I am taking full advantage of the window sill and wall backing it! I’ve piled on the decor on the window sill and on my actual desk. When my desk was in the middle of the room, facing the door (in my old office), I had kept it a bit more minimal and clean looking.
This is a shot of my tree without the lights on. I like to see the tree without lights because it reminds me of a real tree that’s been frosted with actual snow!
My naughty and nice pillow is one of my favorite pieces in my holiday decor collection. I love switching it up depending on how I am feeling each day! 😉
Well there you have it my lovelies. I hope you have enjoyed this little tour of my new office space, all done up for the holidays. Stay tuned for the post-Christmas makeover I will be doing in January, as well as my self care tips through the holidays and New Year.
